Looking Back, Moving Forward — a new limited podcast series from Ms. Studios hosted by yours truly — will trace the intertwined history of Ms. magazine and the feminist movement and explore where our fight for gender equality must go next.

In each episode, I’ll chronicle the ways women’s lives and the feminist movement have transformed over the last 50-plus years — and talk to Ms. contributors and editors who have told the stories of our struggle, and the feminist thought leaders and activists who continue to define and redefine this movement.

By talking through how we got to where we are now, we can find the path forward, toward an intersectional feminist future.
